Regulator will look at breach
THE regulator that oversees data protection is looking into an alleged breach at the city council.
Portsmouth City Council published some surnames and addresses in its monthly invoice list, which are normally redacted.
A resident has said it could lead to identifying vulnerable people. A council spokesman said no-one is identifiable.
A spokeswoman for the Information Commissioners’ Office said it is considering its next steps.
