A MAN spent three hours up a pylon after refusing to come down.

Police, ambulance and fire services were sent to the incident, at Roebuck Close, Cosham. The 20-year-old climbed the pylon, near the railway lines, at around 1pm yesterday and it took until 4pm to get him off.

Firefighters from Southsea used their equipment to get him down. It is not known why the man climbed the pylon.
