A WOMAN was rescued after her car careered off a road into bushes. The crash was in Lakesmere Road, Waterlooville, at 10.39am yesterday.

Watch manager Mark Norton from Cosham fire station said: ‘It initially came in from the police as a young lady trapped by bushes.

‘We came and released the bushes, cut them back a little bit and enabled the ambulance service to carry out an assessment.’

One appliance from Cosham and one from Waterlooville were called. The woman did not go to hospital, The News understands.
