RESIDENTS met representatives from First Bus to talk about their concerns over routes and timetables.

Ahead of the route changes set to come in on July 27, Jonathon Crossland, business manager of the Solent area for First, met people from Fareham who are unhappy with the infrequent buses.

The meeting, which took place at Trafalgar Court, addressed this main concern and suggestions were made to divert other routes so buses would travel along St Michael’s Grove twice an hour.

Tony White, a resident who also sits on the Fareham and Gosport bus panel, said the meeting was positive. ‘We have given them our concerns and hopefully they will listen,’ he said. ‘There are a lot of people who feel the services in this area need improving.’
