International rock acts Stereophonics and Elbow were revealed as the first major acts to appear.
They will headline the festival’s main Common Stage on Saturday and Sunday night respectively.
Olly Murs and Rita Ora pick up the main slots on the Castle Field stages over Saturday and Sunday.
Joining them are rising stars Slaves, seasoned power-pop trio Feeder, plus folk rockers Frightened Rabbit, indie-folk troubadour Jake Bugg, art rockers Franz Ferdinand, KT Tunstall, alt-rock upstarts Sundara Karma, Tanzanian rapper Tiggs Da Author, feted grime artist and rapper Lady Leshurr, lo-fi London four-piece Palace and garage punk outfit Crows.
Victorious Festival boss Andy Marsh: ‘We’ve worked really hard to secure the very best acts – bands and artists we personally love.
‘We literally have the crown jewels of the British music industry night after night.’
Cult ska band Madness and the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club have been unveiled as the acts leading the opening Friday party night.
