A TEENAGE scooter rider was left hurt after a crash with a car.

The collision between the scooter and car happened in Stakes Hill Road, Waterlooville, at the junction with Hurstville Drive.

Police closed the road at about 4.20pm on Wednesday while they were dealt with the incident. The 16-year-old boy was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment to head and pelvic injuries.
