THE ways Portsmouth people chose to have their loved ones remembered after the First World War will the focus of a public talk tomorrow.

Portsmouth Central Library will host the ‘Ripples of Remembrance’ presentation at 2pm.

Ruth Ross will lead the talk and describe how people on the homefront chose to remember family members who died in the war.

Ms Ross is a professional lecturer and has 10 years’ experience as a guide on the battlefields of Ypres and the Somme.
