PEOPLE are being urged to sign up for free flood warnings.

The Environment Agency wants people to check their flood risk and know what to do if a flood happens.

Gordon Wilson, flood risk manager for the Solent and South Downs Area, said: ‘Many people think that flooding will never happen to them – but it could. Flooding can be devastating and we want you to know your flood risk and what to do in a flood.’ Register for updates at 0345 988 1188.
