Road between Knowle and Wickham closed for '˜emergency' gas repairs

A STREET connecting Knowle and Wickham has been closed for emergency repairs to a gas main.

Mayles Lane in Wickham has been shut by Southern Gas Network outside Long View House near Mayles Farm while the work is carried out.

A signed diversion has been put in place for traffic.

Currently, SGN cannot confirm when the work will be completed.
