TWO cars were involved in a crash on Grange Road, Gosport.

The road was temporarily closed by police after they were called at 8.30am this morning.

The incident happened at the junction of Grange Road and Carless Close.

Ambulance were also called to treat minor injuries.

Traffic was diverted down Nimrod Drive causing delays but the road has now been re-opened.

A spokeswoman from Hampshire police said: ‘We were called at 8.29am to an incident involving two cars.

‘No-one was trapped in their cars and no vehicles were overturned.

‘A lamppost was damaged and has been bent.’
