ONE OF the area’s biggest music festivals is extending its charitable reach.

This year Waterlooville Music Festival will dedicate one of its evening concerts to The Rowans Hospice.

The festival, which is based around St George’s Church in the town centre, runs from June 6 to 13 and the charity night will be on the last day. There will be a raffle for the Purbook hospice.

The festival is backing the schools choir programme started by Hampshire Music Service. Tickets are £6 for the evening concerts and £7 for the Last Night of the Proms.

A passport ticket is available costing £25 which gives access to all the concerts except the Last Night of the Proms.

The online booking office is open at and special offers are available online.
