Starting back in September is always an exciting time for any school. For Rydon this is no exception and is excited to announce its first Freshers’ Fair and a Governors Open Morning.
CLUBS AND ORGANISATIONS FRESHERS’ FAIR
On Friday September 11, Rydon Community College will be hosting their first ever Freshers’ Fair.
This event will take place in the school hall from 1.30 – 3.30pm.
This Fair will be attended by all pupils and parents are invited to drop in between 1.30 – 3.30pm.
On exhibition, we not only have the school extra-curricular programme but we have also invited clubs and organisations from the local community.
The aim of the Fair is to provide our pupils and parents with information about the clubs and organisations Rydon and the local community has to offer.
We also will be working to improve links between Rydon and local community.
GOVERNORS OPEN MORNING
Doors will open to the public on Saturday September 12 between 9am and 12 noon.
As part of the Consultation to decide what happens to education provision in the STARS area Rydon Community Governors invite you to see Rydon and the facilities it has; not only for our current system Year 6 to 8 but what we could offer for future generations on our site.
If you have never been to Rydon and not seen the site and facilities it is worth coming along. Our Chair of Governors, Alan Brien, has written to all residents in the STARS area inviting you to see what Rydon has to offer.
The Consultation ends on September 18. You need to have your say.
You can do so by responding to the circulation and links to the consultation can be found through our website and on the saverydonschool.co.uk or on the West Sussex County Council Website.
