Petty Officer Phil Slade and navy veteran Mark Belamarich set a world record for the distance sailed in a two-man dinghy.

The duo completed the epic 355.88-mile journey over three days earlier this year in aid of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity.

They were presented with their title by the Guinness Book of Records during a presentation yesterday in Plymouth.
