Volunteers from The Portsmouth and Southsea Round Table are running a Santa sleigh in aid of Autism Hampshire.
The dedicated crew of 15 are making their way around the city for the first time this week.
Community officer Steve Mullins said: ‘We’re really excited to be taking on this new endeavour and hope it will become a tradition that lives on for years to come.
‘While this time of year is a time for festivities, we must bear in mind those in need and make sure they have an amazing Christmas too.’
The sleigh will make five journeys across Portsmouth until next Tuesday giving out presents and collecting money from good samaritans between 5pm and 8pm each night.
It will be in North End tonight, Baffins on Monday and Paulsgrove on Tuesday.
The group would like to thank The Shed and their helpers for building the sled, Hand Pick Cars for providing the reindeer, Blendworth Trailers and Coomers for the wood.
