MORE and more companies, schools and organisations are signing up to Blue Day this year as anticipation builds for the fundraiser on Friday, April 20.

· Students from South Downs Student Union in Waterlooville have pledged their support for Blue Day.

They will hold a special event on Wednesday, April 25. Students will be dressing in morph suits, wearing blue wigs and selling blue roses.

There will also be blue cakes for sale and people will have a chance to have a go in a blue ball pool.

· Staff and pupils at Portsdown Primary School and Early Years School have signed up to this year’s Blue Day.

They will be taking part by dressing in blue and having a cake sale.

· Tickets are still on sale for the Big Blue Do, which takes place at The Wedgewood Rooms in Albert Road on Wednesday, April 18.

Kojak’s Revenge will be headlining the event and most of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Blue Day.

The Phantom, Days of Speed, Reactor 1 and Danny Wright will also perform.
