Seasonal joy as festival announced

This year's Festival of Christmas, being held on December 8 and 9, will feature more than 80 stalls selling an array of handcrafted gifts.

Live entertainment will also be provided with performances from local ukulele band Pompey Pluckers, street theatre acts and more.

Port Solent's Lisa Fowler said: '˜This is a fantastic chance for families to get into the Christmas spirit and pick up some wonderfully unique and homemade gifts that aren't available on the high street.'
