AN opportunity to catch a rare glimpse into the studios of more than 30 professional artists is on offer.

Visitors are invited to join Art Space Portsmouth for its open weekend where they can meet artists, buy artworks, and enjoy the studio garden.

Open Studios forms part of Portsmouth Festivities 2015.

Art Space Studio co-ordinator Letty Clarke said: ‘Open Studios is an amazing way to experience Portsmouth’s arts scene.

‘It’s a chance to see some incredible work, to meet the artists and to see inside the world of their studios.

‘It’s a unique event and if you are interested in a career as an artist, then this is a perfect time to visit.’

Admission to the event, which takes place at 
the converted Brougham Road Chapel in Southsea, is free.

The studios will be open to the public from 1.30pm to 4.30pm on Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28.
