THE second annual Senior Citizen Fair will be coming back to Fareham at the end of this week.

Town MP Suella Fernandes has invited residents to join her for the event, which will be taking place in the sports hall at Fareham College on Friday, November 17, from 10.30am-1.30pm.

The fair has been sponsored by the Fareham Meon Rotary Club, with free admission for everyone.

The fair will showcase a wide range of local and national groups and organisations covering pastimes and hobbies, health and lifestyle support groups.

Ms Fernandes said: ‘All too often we hear about the problems that can accompany the ageing process, including loneliness and isolation.

‘My Senior Citizen Fair is really an opportunity for local people to find out what kind of groups and activities are out there and on their doorstep, to make new friends and to stop loneliness.

‘I look forward to seeing everyone there.’
