A CHARITY is calling on people to find their sea legs for a fundraiser.

The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is holding a sailing day at Port Solent to raise money to fight heart disease.

Anyone can take part to enjoy an exhilarating day on a 12ft sunsail yacht with friends.

Each of the yachts can take up to 10 crew but smaller groups can also join in the fun.

The cost is £150 per person but there are reduced rates available for groups of five people or more.

Louise Parkes, BHF fundraising director, said: ‘We’d like to encourage as many people as possible to support the sailing regatta which promises to be great fun for everyone involved.

‘By engaging in events like this, you are helping to ensure that our life-saving and life-changing work continues.’

The event is on September 13 and includes three meals and basic tuition in the morning. There will be an experienced skipper on each yacht.
