NEARLY £200 has been raised for a charity thanks to generous shoppers.
The Gosport and Fareham branch of the MS Society has received a boost of £195 thanks after a Fareham collection.
The charity held the street event on March 19 to raise funds for people in the two towns who are affected by multiple sclerosis.
Branch chairman George McAleese said: ‘It was an excellent day with the collection conducted in a friendly, happy, chatty atmosphere.
‘It resulted in a collection of £195.10. Many thanks to the shoppers who made the generous donations.’
