LETTER OF THE DAY: Hats off to two top firms

Have your say

Since our last article before Christmas, Hayling for St George (H4STG) has increased in its duration as well as in the entertainment we will offer.

We have been approached by Hayling Legends, Classic Cars and Solent Overlord Military Vehicles to ask if they can join in the day.

They will be bring their cherished transport to display.

These will be alongside the railway line and on the Common.

We now expect our programme of entertainment to last from midday until 6.30pm on Sunday, April 21.

This will take place at The Plaza at Eastoke Corner, Hayling Island.

All the entertainment is free, but we hope our visitors will help us support our charity, the Hayling Island First Responders.

These wonderful volunteers are a valuable addition to the ambulance service, reaching us quickly in emergencies of all types.

The programme of entertainment can be found on our recently updated website or on our Facebook page, Hayling for St George-21st April 2013.

The programmes will be available on the day from The Plaza or from the traders in the Eastoke Corner area.

We have shops, fish and chips, cafes, ice cream parlours, public houses and amusements with ample parking adjacent to the entertainment.

The Hayling Seaside Railway will be running all day from Eastoke Corner to Beachlands and return.

It is fun for all the family, with a platform near to The Plaza.

In fact, we think there is everything you could need for a day at the seaside. We hope to see you then.
