Southsea Library is celebrating its fourth birthday tomorrow with a series of activities.

Friends of Southsea Library have arranged a number of activities between 10am and 2pm.

Visitors can join hourly tours of the Southsea Archive Repository, which isn’t usually open to the public.

At 12.15pm The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth will cut the birthday cake and present prizes to competition winners.

Portsmouth Writers’ Hub members will host a session on how to get published and local author Julia Bryant will be talking about ‘her Portsmouth’.

There will also be computer courses throughout the day and staff will demonstrate the new eAudio and eBook download service.

You can enter the best ‘selfie’ competition and a mini saga writing competition, plus there will be story times, rhyme times and face painting for youngsters.
