THE Kings Theatre is inviting people to access all areas during an open day.

Visitors will be given the chance to see different parts of the building, in Albert Road, Southsea.

And they can also learn new skills through workshops, which will be running throughout the day.

And to celebrate 200 years since the birth of Portsmouth-born author Charles Dickens, Dickens Stories Tours are being held.

The event takes place on Saturday, January 14, from 10am to 5pm.

Classes include playing musical instruments – people are asked to bring their own – dancing and stage fighting and combat sessions.
