A CHURCH is celebrating its 100th year anniversary with a special mass and party.

This Thursday, on St James’ Day, St James’ Church, in Milton, will be having a centenary mass.

Bishop Norman Banks, Bishop of Richborough will be leading the ceremony which starts at 7.30pm.

The church has been holding events for its anniversary including a summer fair and music recitals.

It will also have a flower festival this weekend and a barbecue in September.
