A GAP year programme is appealing for volunteers.

Step into the Gap would like to hear from 18 to 30 year olds who want to spend time helping people in one of the poorest countries in the world. The programme is run by the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD) and runs from September to July.

It includes a placement in the UK and also an overseas placement helping young people in a Catholic environment.

To find out more go to cafod.org.uk or email youngleadership@cafod.org.uk.

Deadline for applications is April 25.
