One of the leading air traffic control companies defence division is sponsoring the Royal Air Force Cricket Association Ladies Team on its first international tour.

The National Air Traffic Service (Nats) has been a strong supporter of the RAF ladies cricket team and will help to send them to a mixed services tournament in Australia.

The RAF players will compete against teams from the British Army, Royal New Zealand Air Force, Australian Army, Royal Australian Air Force and Royal Australian Navy from November 16.

Head of Nats Defence, Ewan Kelbie said: ‘We have a long-standing relationship working closely with the UK military in managing air traffic control operations in UK airspace.

‘We have been a proud supporter to the ladies team for a number of years.

‘And we are delighted to once again sponsor the team as they compete over in Australia.’
