THERE will be plenty of Halloween fun at Locks Heath Shopping Village.

The shopping village is planning a day of child-friendly activities to take place on Saturday, October 31.

There will be a face painter, fun fair and free witches and wizards hat-making workshop from 11am to 4pm.

Other highlights will include trick or treating and a fancy dress parade outside Costa at 2pm.

Centre manager Ian Goodridge said: ‘We are delighted to be offering our shoppers such an exciting day of activities.

‘It is going to be a fantastic way for local families and their friends to celebrate Halloween in a safe and friendly environment.

‘We look forward to seeing everyone in their fancy dress costumes.’

The centre is running a spooky story competition for youngsters aged 11 to 16 which ends on Sunday, October 18.

Mr Goodridge said: ‘It is a fantastic opportunity for getting creative and celebrating the spooky season.’
