A CHARITY golf day will be held in Fareham to raise money for Wessex Heartbeat.

Players will be joined by Olympic diver Peter Waterfield and ex-Southampton player Matt Le Tissier at their golf day at Cams Estate Golf Club on Tuesday, October 9.

The golf day hopes to raise funds to support the work of the Wessex Cardiac Centre at Southampton General Hospital.

It will also raise awareness of the centre’s latest major project, the High 5 Appeal which is to raise £500,000 for a new ward for the needs of young adults with heart conditions.
