ROADSHOWS about changes to street lights are coming to Havant and Waterlooville.

Scottish and Southern Energy’s exhibition vehicle will visit the town centres later this month.

The firm’s staff and representatives from Hampshire County Council will answer questions about the street lighting improvements currently under way in Havant borough.

A total of 8,099 lighting posts and 5,914 lanterns are being replaced or upgraded in the area.

Older parts of Havant town centre will also get some new heritage-style lighting columns as part of the county’s £120m street lighting replacement programme.

The roadshow, from 9am to 4pm, comes to Havant on October 23 and Waterlooville on October 26.
