WORKERS are being asked to dig deep and donate gifts to a Portsmouth-based Christmas Gift Appeal.

The project, run by Business in the Community, asks firms to collect gifts which the charity will then donate to Two Saints – an organisation that supports homeless people in the area.

As well as giving gifts, people are being asked to give their time to worthy causes by volunteering at food banks, community groups, and taking part in many more projects which aim to benefit the community.

BITC has also joined together with local
charities and schools to help employers develop Christmas activities that deliver benefits for all involved.

Mike Toy, community impact officer at BITC, said ‘Supporting local charities like Two Saints at Christmas allows individual employees to support their community and creates a feel-good factor among the workforce.’

For more information or to register to collect donated gifts, call (023) 9223 0692.
