FOLLOWING the incident at Shoreham Airshow today, the organisers have just confirmed in writing that the Sunday event is cancelled.

A statement issued by press officer John Periam at 9.10pm said: “The organisers offer their deepest sympathy to all those involved and their families.

“Our thanks also go to those attending the airshow for their patience and understanding following the incident.”
