COLLEAGUES from a convenience store walked 29 miles for its charity of the year.

Employees from Wilkinson in Arundel Street, Portsmouth, celebrated their year of fundraising for Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal by doing a 29-mile sponsored walk.

Store manager Sally Taylor said: ‘When we heard about the challenge, everyone at the store wanted to do something to help.

‘We’ve always been charity supporters and this time was no different. The sponsored walk was a real success.’

Pam Marshall, founder of the charity, said: ‘The challenge was a great chance to bring the stores together for worthy causes and we’re sure the money raised will make a real difference at our charity.’
