HAIRDRESSERS Headmasters have been crowned top regional fundraisers for a cancer charity.

The Stubbington salon has came out top in hair company GHD’s south east fundraisers for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

The team has raised more than £3,500 for the charity, which is dedicated to researching the cause and treatment of cancer. Fundraising events such as a raffle and pavement art were held to raise money.

Salon owner Marion Dennis said staff were thrilled to have helped.

‘As well as it being a huge amount of fun, it was amazing to know that our fundraising efforts would help such a worthwhile cause’ she said.
