DRESSED in wonderful hats, women from three WI groups had afternoon tea to mark the movement’s centenary year.
Members from Crofton, Stubbington and Hill Head and Stubbington Village gathered at Holyrood Church to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the WI.

Wednesday was day of the anniversary and yesterday, the three groups in Stubbington celebrated together.
Margaret Sheldrake, a member of Crofton WI, said: ‘It was a lovely afternoon with everyone in wonderful hats and meeting each other.’
Gill Southwell, president of Stubbington Village, said she was impressed by the cakes each group made, which were decorated by Carol White.
Liz Webster, president of Stubbington and Hill Head WI added: ‘It’s nice for ladies to come together. It was very successful.’
