MORE than £10,000 has been raised for an Easter egg appeal.

The Wave 105 Cash for Kids Easter egg appeal has ended on a high with the station’s listeners donating 2,400 chocolate eggs.

The Easter eggs were divided between worthy causes in the south including social services, local hospitals, women’s refuges, and disadvantaged children’s centres.

Taking place last month, listeners of Wave 105, based in Segensworth, Fareham made donations at their nearest Sainsbury’s store or Letco Lettings office.
