Teenagers are being invited to take part in four weeks of National Citizen Service (NCS) to develop new skills and meet new people.
It is a month-long programme run by Pompey in the Community from Monday to Friday for boys and girls aged 15,16, or 17,
Programmes start on June 29, July 6 and 1 and cost £35, with bursaries available. The programme is as follows:
- Week 1 – Away Residential at Land and Wave, Swanage, taking part in coasteering, paddle boarding and kayaking.
- Week 2 – Home Residential at Fort Purbrook, Portsmouth staying in self-catering facilities whilst budgeting and cooking for themselves
- Weeks 3 and 4: Make a Difference Projects at the Pompey Study Centre in Fratton, working in teams to create an exciting project for the community.
