Sun, sun and more sun for Portsmouth

The Spanish plume has been blown off course - but Portsmouth remains set for a gloriously sunny start to the week.

Weathermen say a change in wind direction will mean that previously-predicted heatwave is off, although sunshine and cloudless skies will mean some great summer weather.

The Met Office says that after a cool start, today shouldshould develop into a fine, sunny and very warm day in Portsmouth.

But, says the Met Office, the weatherw ill change for the worse as the week goes on.
