A MEMBER of a business support group has raised more than £100 with a heroic fundraising effort.

Sara Pollard took part in a fundraising effort for radio station Wave105’s Cash for Kids charity.

Her task was to dress as Wonder Woman for the entire day, with members of the public donating to her effort online via a Justgiving page.

Sara is a member of Biztastic Warsash, a close group of like-minded business owners who meet regularly in Warsash for support in achieving business and personal goals.

To complete her pledge, Sara had to carry out normal everyday tasks in her superhero outfit.

This included doing the normal school run, going shopping in Tesco Fareham, having a coffee in Waitrose Locks Heath, and baking at the Biztastic head quarters.

Sara managed to raise £115 for the charity which supports children aged up to 18 who are disabled, disadvantaged, abused, or neglected.

The organisation is Bauer Radio’s network of local charities, which operate across 21 areas around the UK.
