Support The Great Get Together with community event in Havant

Havant Borough Council said these national events encourage neighbours and communities to come together to celebrate and connect with each other for a celebration.

The Great Get Together could be a large or small event and take place inside or outside on June 17-18.

Residents could hold a lunch, bake off, picnic or a barbecue, and each could take part in a park, school, community facility or a street party.

The Great Get Together is a campaign set up by the Jo Cox Foundation and its partners.

Claire Hughes, head of communications and community, said: ‘We want to support our residents in coming together and celebrating as a community. The Great Get Together provides the perfect excuse to join in with your friends, family and neighbours, whilst raising money for a good cause.’
