Family’s urgent plea to find missing loved one

Have your say

THERE is still time to sign up for one of the area’s toughest cycling events.

Denmead Bike Ride is on July 27 and this year will raise money for Hannah’s Holiday Home, a charity set up in memory of Hannah Westbrook, who died in 2004 from Hodgkin’s disease.

Since it was started 13 years ago, a different good cause has been chosen each year and riders are sponsored for the gruelling slog around the hills of Denmead.

There are three routes to choose from – 10, 20 and 35 miles.

Each starts at 10am from the Harvest Home pub, in the village centre.

While the cyclists are hard at it, there will be entertainment and hot food all day at the pub. Entry to the ride is £5 per adult, £2 per child and £10 for a family.

There are reduced rates for paying before the day.
