THE oldest house in Portsmouth, Wymering Manor, will host a 1940s tea party to celebrate the restoration of some of its rooms.

There will be welcome drinks in the manor’s grand hall before guests move on to the music room for the tea party and a concert by Amy Baker.

This will be the first chance for many to see the progress Wymering Manor Trust has made on restoring the manor.

The tea party will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, July 11.

Tickets are £15. Call 07880 952930 to find out more.
