HE MAY not have won the competition, but Marley Blandford enjoyed performing on a television show.

Marley, 19, from Drayton Road, North End, was one of seven musicians who took part in BBC1’s Frank Sinatra: Our Way, which aired on Saturday.

Marley performed All The Way, but did not do enough to convince the judges, which would have earned him a spot to perform at a concert to mark the centenary of Sinatra’s birth.

He said: ‘The night was dedicated to a great musician – I enjoyed it and was glad to be a part of it.’
