FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a group of teenagers who had become trapped in a lift.

Two crews from Southsea Fire Station received the call at 10.40pm on Wednesday.

They proceeded to rescue a group of six boys from the elevator at the Copperfield House estate in Buckland.

Southsea Fire Station said that all six teenagers, who were aged between 14 and 16 years old, were unharmed at the estate on Wingfield Street.
