SCIENTISTS will today unveil plans to build the most powerful telescope in the world.

The telescope, called the Atlast, will be able to analyse planets up to 30 light years away.

The details of the project will be revealed at the National Astronomy Meeting, taking place at the Portsmouth Guildhall tonight at 6.45pm. To book tickets go to nam2014.org/public.
