PUPILS at Mill Hill Primary School were united in their support of Blue Day.

Each of the 130 pupils and staff wore something blue, though most were blue from head to foot.

The school had such a good time supporting the day that Peter Leonard, head of school, has alrwady pledged support for next year’s event.

He added: ‘We have a number of staff who remember doing the first Blue Day in 2008, and actually the children and parents here are very good at supporting things like this.’

The pupils at Mill Hill Primary School were also treated to cakes with blue icing on for their pudding at lunch and, as our picture shows, were able to play with a large bunch of blue balloons.
