FOUR people had to be cut free from a car after a collision on a motorway.
The accident happened at 11.45pm last night between junctions eight and nine, westbound, of the M27.
Three cars collided and two cars, a Vauxhall Zafira and a Vauxhall Astra were badly damaged.
Firefighters from Fareham and Cosham cut the roof from the Astra to free the four people inside.
Fareham crew manager Mark RyderCORR said: ‘It was an end to end collision involving three vehicles.
‘Four people were removed from one of the vehicles, as a precaution. There were no serious injuries.’
Paramedics then took them to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, for a check up.
A spokesman for the police said no arrests were made and they are not investigating the incident.
