NINE firefighters tackled a blaze sparked by an electrical fault in a TV and a VHS player.

Crews tackled the ground-floor flat fire in Camden Street, Gosport using four breathing apparatus and a hose reel.

Three residents were treated for smoke inhalation.

It happened at 4.45pm on Sunday and around 20 per cent of the flat was damaged.

Crews used a fan to clear the smoke in the flat and left by 6.11pm on Sunday.

Police say the cause is under investigation.
