SPINNAKER Tower’s cafe has reopened after having a revamp.

The Waterfront Cafe, which is based at the bottom of the tower in Gunwharf Quays, had been closed for two weeks.

During that time changes took place to give the cafe a new look in time for the Easter holidays.

It has been transformed with a new colour scheme and more space for visitors to enjoy the view of the sea.

In addition the venue also has an updated spring and summer menu, which has also been introduced.

It was officially reopened with a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Food and beverage manager Emma Lennox, on the left in the picture above with Abby Burton, corporate and hospitalty manager, said: ‘What’s so special about the new Waterfront Cafe is the way the open space and new colour scheme really bring the views in.

‘We’ve also got new food on the menu, like salads, making it an even better menu.’

‘The feedback from visitors so far has been incredibly fantastic.’
