65-year-old pedestrian in hospital after Emsworth crash

A PEDESTRIAN was rushed to hospital after colliding with a car in Emsworth.

The 65-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The car involved in the incident, which was on the A259 junction between Havant Road and North Street, was a black subaru.

Police were called to the scene just before 5.10pm. The road was blocked, but was reopened shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.
