Cars end up outside a front door in Southsea after crash

TWO cars ended up outside the front door of a house after a collision at the junction of Jessie Road and Talbot Road in Southsea at about 8.20pm today.

Watch manager Ian Jeffery from Southsea Fire Station said two fire crews had been at the scene.

He said the occupants of the cars were uninjured, but the cars needed to be taken away by a tow truck.

Mr Jeffrey said: ‘Both vehicles ended up on the pavement outside a front door.

‘They were badly damaged and Boarhunt was in attendance.’

Police closed a section of the road during the recovery.
